10 OCTOBER 2026 · DUBAI

Thank ten. Feel a hundred times better.

On 10 October, we share a smile, a thank-you and 10 dirhams with each of ten people who make everyday life better. A few words or a short written message are a lovely extra, never a must. Because gratitude is gratifying, for the giver as much as for the receiver.

I’m taking the challenge

100 dirhams. Ten people. One day of appreciation.

A smiling woman, hand on her heart, receives a small thank-you envelope from a neighbour in a sunlit courtyard.

THE IDEA IS SIMPLE

One hundred dirhams.
Ten reasons to say thank you.

Together, we thank ten people who make everyday life better: a smile, a thank-you and a 10-dirham note for each person.

10people×10dirhams each=100dirhams of appreciation

WHY 10×10?

One day. Ten thank-yous.
A little more joy.

Ten people. Ten 10-dirham notes. The tenth day of the tenth month. A simple idea that is easy to remember, easy to share, and personal enough to mean something.

Make everyday kindness visible.

Make a special day for the people who make every day special. We can celebrate their care, effort and kindness together.

Give someone a reason to smile.

A small token and a sincere thank-you can brighten an ordinary moment. That smile may travel further than you ever see.

Feel the joy of giving.

Pausing to notice the good around us can lift our own spirits too. Gratitude is a moment of connection for the person giving and the person receiving.

Turn “one day” into this day.

A shared date gives us a moment to celebrate together. On 10 October, we start a habit worth keeping all year.

One day to begin. Every day to keep it going.

Who could your ten be?

Your thanks can mean a lot to anyone whose work or kindness makes your days easier. For example:

Everyone likes to feel appreciated and recognised. Saying so brings joy to both sides, and on 10 October, everyone gains a little.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Three simple steps.
Keep it personal.

01

Think of your people.

Choose ten people whose everyday efforts you appreciate. Make the list your own.

02

Prepare your stack of tens.

Get ten 10-dirham notes ready: one for each person you want to thank. One 100-dirham note makes your stack of tens.

03

Thank them.

A smile, a thank-you and 10 dirhams: that is the heart of 10×10. A few words or a short written message are a lovely extra, never a must. If the moment feels right, invite them to share their story on The Gratitude Wall.
